Starting assumptions

The project began with clear goals, timelines, and expectations. On paper, it looked straightforward. Everyone was aligned, and the scope felt reasonable.

That’s usually when the real work starts.

Where friction appeared

As the project moved forward, priorities shifted and assumptions surfaced. Design wasn’t the challenge—communication was. Small gaps early turned into bigger corrections later.

Most issues weren’t about execution, but about clarity.

What I took away

The biggest lesson was simple: alignment upfront saves far more time than clever solutions later. Clear boundaries, written decisions, and honest conversations matter more than speed.

I’ll carry that into every future project.
